You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Solid knowledge of Java / Java EE and experience with Spring Boot or earlier Spring versions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Angular / AngularJS for front-end maintenance and UI fixes.
• Understanding of REST APIs and system-to-system integrations.
• Hands-on familiarity with JBoss or Apache application servers.
• Experience working with Oracle databases (writing queries, debugging, troubleshooting).
• Fluent English communication (technical and client-facing).
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to provide clear and concise progress updates and contribute to LOE estimations.
• Exposure to Groovy, PHP, or legacy architecture environments is a plus.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Linux commands and Bash scripting.
• Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control with Git.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Managing and monitoring the support ticket queue and production alerts.
• Investigating and resolving application incidents, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Participating in operational and control callouts with client stakeholders.
• Collaborating with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams to identify root causes and propose permanent fixes.
• Supporting deployment processes and validating post-release stability.
• Contributing to incremental improvements, automation initiatives, and performance optimization.
• Maintaining clear documentation of fixes and technical resolutions.
